--Matthew--

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. (10:32)

But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. (10:33)

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. (10:34)

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. (10:35)

And a man's foes [shall be] they of his own household. (10:36)

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. (10:37)

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. (21:15)

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (21:16)

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, [son] of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. (21:17)

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry [thee] whither thou wouldest not. (21:18)

This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. (21:19)
